![]() ![]() ![]() Gaiman's universe turned out to be so popular that Marvel released three more mini-series and one short comic about the superheroes of this era! It's truly an amazing and exciting story that's also beautifully illustrated. If you want to fully enjoy the magical world created by one of the best writers of our time, then I strongly recommend Marvel 1602. Gaiman skillfully combines magic and realism, thanks to which the entire comic is imbued with the atmosphere of a miracle. But there are riddles, the answers to which the reader will find only in the finale, detective motives, as well as American legends. There's no main villain as such, and there are no fights either. This isn't just one of the biggest crossovers where heroes fight against the villain. Gaiman reinvents the Marvel universe and starts all over again, telling stories of famous characters and explaining where their abilities came from. In this universe, Nick Fury is in the service of Queen Elizabeth, Stephen Strange is engaged in alchemy and medicine, the Fantastic Four explore the world, and Magneto directs the Inquisition. Gaiman's imagination transports everyone's favorite superheroes 400 years into the past to medieval England. Only real superheroes can prevent the apocalypse. ![]() The country is in great panic because of weather anomalies, and most residents are expecting the end of the world. ![]()
